I have been asked to CW my posts about spiders. That's fine, I'll go along with that.

Minorities are people, not spiders. Asking them to CW their lived experience, making it like some form of arachnophobia to read it, is offensive.

I will defend the right of people to avoid being exposed to spiders, but not their right to avoid learning about the oppression of others.

Have you considered that some trans people don't want to see a barrage of people arguing for and defending their rights because they just want to relax? Or parents of trans kids one to spend a moment away from that?

I see lots of bigots being slapped down but know some friends who have to deal with those issues don't have the spoon to laugh at it, or discuss it this week, or see it this week.

They need space to breath. These features were developed by minorities, I've read today.
