I've been thinking that people who are neurodivergent but aren't autistic (or an ADHDer) are treated similarly to how asexual and aromantic people are treated within the queer community (generally ignored).

Not sure if I have understood correctly- I am tired after a full on day- some of us are neurodivergent in many areas as are my children. Part of the issue is that these other areas are self identified. Nowhere to go and get a full set of diagnosises.
Also many autistics are part of the LGBTQi+ community.
That makes my family????🤷🏼‍♀️
I will settle for ‘interesting’ though maybe ‘ignored’ would be easier at times.

The fact that you're responding with the acronym "LGBTQI" and leaving out the "A" kinda makes the point of the person you're responding to.

this is sorta why i end up just using the word queer as a catch-all for anyone who doesn't conform to the norms. people are already well-aware of gender queer and sexuality queer, but there's also neuro queer. all aspects of queer.

Um, they did use "LGBTQi+". That's normally interpreted as shorthand for the entire not- allocishet universe?
