I only have a sample size of one, but it really looks like the already atrocious git performance on macOS with HFS+ has become even worse on macOS with APFS. Is this even possible?
My employer insisted on it, and when I left the company I bought it basically for the contents on it so I could trivially keep contracting for my ex-employer.
But it has also been the most powerful computer in the household for seven years, with zero tinkering except for the tinkering I insisted on doing for fun.
I wouldn't have bought it for my own money, it cost about twice as much as it was worth. Buying it used after three years was worth it though.
Now it's basically the kid's Roblox and YouTube computer, and the adults are using a Dell XPS 13 with Ubuntu and an ancient terribly slow laptop with Xubuntu.
