when you think you may help fix infra-as-code and promote clean practices at a place... and then realize there's a repo where more than one person push directly to master, the commits show in Gitlab to be all by user "Jenkins" (yes, jenkins has *write access* to master) since they all seem to be working out of jenkins' home in a server, which is a mess of local modifications and untracked files... and the commit summaries are all *literally* dots (.)

and all this in full knowledge of management who basically says "yeah we know it's a mess but *shrugs* "
