I always knew this was true about the world, but the last year has just been one mind-blowing experience after another, fully seeing how much this is true of so many things. It's also been rough realizing how much internalized ableism and capitalist propaganda is built into my own thoughts about myself. Same with the autism, it rarely feels like a problem to me when I'm not confronted by the unfair/unrealistic expectations of other people.
