Reshares of ignored and blocked users
Hey !Friendica Admins is there a way for hiding reshares of users I blocked, done by contacts I don't intend to block ? Just hide those particular posts? I'm in a single user instance and can use the admin account if necessary. Thanks!

So what does it say about Grimes that she was with Elon Musk for 4 years, she had 2 children with him, and still refers to him as her "best friend and love of my life" ?
Someone doesn't just suddenly turn conservative and awful. He must've expressed horrible ideas to her in private regularly. There is no way it wasn't like that

Just as my experience of the material world is impacted by considerations of class, gender, race and more, so is my digital experience. Twitter has never been safe for minoritised people and, as a woman of colour, my experience of the platform has always been vitiated by an overarching sense of violence.

The current digital white flight โ or at least its threats โ kicked off by Muskโs tragicomic saga of the acquisition and ongoing torching of Twitter is very familiar, not only in its motivations but its dynamics. Like real-world white flight, it is motivated not by existential or substantial fears, but a perceived threat to comforts of structural privilege. Most importantly, it is premised on a single privileged assumption: that there are, somewhere, safe and comfortable spaces of existence.

Oh! I get it now. It's actually the opposite for us. We call the drier ones sapos ("frogs") and wet ones ranas (it seems you don't have a translation for that word in english). But when looking it up it seems these are all nonscientific terms (by "all" I mean frogs and toads, but sapos and ranas as well) and the actual taxonomy is much more complex and does not reflect popular usage. Kinda like when people call fruits vegetables, or berries things that aren't, etc etc

How is this person allowed to be in charge of anything? Isn't he aware he is not longer in highschool? And this is the person thousands of fanboys idolize?
I'm not one to use language lightly (non-native speaker) so trust me when I say I'm truly amazed. wtf is going on. Struggling to put my amazement into words, really.
And of course he's also a fucking coward, or trapped in impulse/regret cycles, or whatever, so the tweet is already deleted, but there's still articles showing up in search engines referring to the incident.

From a random reddit thread I fell into who knows how.
ADHD is only considered a "disorder" when strictly viewed through the lens of being "functional" within a capitalist organization of the economyAnother person replies:
I always knew this was true about the world, but the last year has just been one mind-blowing experience after another, fully seeing how much this is true of so many things. It's also been rough realizing how much internalized ableism and capitalist propaganda is built into my own thoughts about myself. Same with the autism, it rarely feels like a problem to me when I'm not confronted by the unfair/unrealistic expectations of other people.#neurodiversity #ableism

Thanks I hate it. But not as much as seeing a certain other face edited onto stuff, so there's that ...
